Job summary

Cognizant is seeking an Enterprise Data Modeler - Healthcare Payer to design enterprise-wide data models and support a large-scale healthcare data transformation program.

You will collaborate with data governance, analytics, and domain stakeholders to create scalable structures enabling analytics, reporting, AI, and operational excellence. Remote position open to qualified applicants in the United States with strong data modeling expertise.

Qualifications

• Extensive experience in enterprise data modeling across conceptual, canonical, logical, physical, and domain models.
• Strong data architecture experience in health plan/payer environments.
• Ability to translate business concepts into enterprise data models with consistent definitions.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain enterprise data models aligned with strategy and objectives.
• Create domain data models for Medicare Advantage business domains.
• Facilitate workshops to define data standards and relationships across stakeholders.
• Align models with governance, MDM, metadata, data quality, and lineage.
• Collaborate with implementation teams to translate models into scalable cloud solutions.
