Job summary

Cognizant is seeking an Enterprise Data Modeler - Healthcare Payer to shape enterprise data models that underpin a large-scale transformation. You will collaborate with data architects, governance teams, and healthcare domain stakeholders to deliver scalable, business-aligned data structures for analytics, AI, and reporting.

Qualifications

• Extensive experience in enterprise data modeling across multiple domains.
• Strong data architecture experience in health plan/payer environments.
• Knowledge of data governance, metadata management, master data management (MDM), data quality and data lineage.
• Experience with cloud-based data platforms; Databricks experience is a plus.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain enterprise data models aligned with organizational data strategy and business objectives.
• Create conceptual, canonical, logical, physical, and domain data models across Medicare Advantage domains.
• Facilitate workshops and collaborate to establish data definitions, data standards, and entity relationships.
• Align data models with governance, metadata management, MDM, analytics, reporting, and AI initiatives.
• Partner with implementation teams to translate business-driven data models into scalable cloud solutions.
