Job summary

BeOne Medicines Ltd. is seeking an Associate Director of Enterprise Data Governance to build and scale governance and stewardship across the organization.

You will translate governance strategy into scalable business processes and lead onboarding of data domains in a federated framework. You will work with security, privacy, legal, and compliance teams to ensure trusted, compliant data assets for analytics, AI readiness, and regulatory adherence.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree with 8+ years in data governance, data stewardship, or enterprise data management.
• Experience as a data governance SME within federated, matrixed environments.
• Ability to influence governance outcomes without formal authority.
• Experience leading cross-functional governance initiatives with business, technology, and compliance.
• Hands-on with governance platforms such as Informatica, Atlan, Alation, or similar.
• Experience enabling data stewards, data owners, and business stakeholders on processes and tools.
• Knowledge of data classification, metadata management, data quality, and regulatory governance.

Responsibilities

• Serve as SME for governance and data stewardship within federated models.
• Lead onboarding of domains and stewardship adoption in governance framework.
• Enable enterprise data discovery via metadata management and data catalogs.
• Author governance policies, standards, and operating models.
• Lead stakeholder sessions and training to drive adoption and accountability.
• Monitor KPIs, governance initiatives, and risk mitigation.
