BeOne Medicines Ltd. is hiring an Associate Director, Enterprise Data Governance to build and scale enterprise data governance and stewardship. You will lead domain onboarding, drive adoption, and oversee governance initiatives across business and technical teams.

You will partner with data, security, legal, and compliance to establish trusted, regulatory-aligned data assets for analytics and decision-making, while guiding managed services and junior resources.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree with 8+ years in data governance or related fields.
• Experience as data governance SME in federated or enterprise-scale model.
• Ability to influence outcomes without formal authority.
• Experience leading cross-functional governance initiatives.
• Hands-on with enterprise data governance platforms (Informatica, Atlan, Alation, etc.).
• Experience training data stewards and owners on governance processes.
• Experience with data classification, metadata management, data quality, and regulatory governance.

Responsibilities

• Serve as SME for enterprise data governance and stewardship, contributing to policies and standards.
• Lead onboarding of domains into the federated governance framework.
• Enable enterprise data discovery via metadata management and data catalogs.
• Implement metadata management and stewardship workflows.
• Integrate governance across platforms and workflows.
• Influence governance adoption by building trusted stakeholder relationships.
• Leverage automation and AI to improve stewardship efficiency.
• Establish and report governance KPIs and progress metrics.
• Collaborate with platform owners to ensure governance supports data quality and compliance.
• Author governance policies and operating models aligned with best practices.
• Lead governance working groups and trainings to drive adoption.
