Job summary

MedRisk seeks a Director of Enterprise Data & Governance to shape the organization’s data strategy, own a modern data platform, and build the governance function for data and AI systems across the enterprise.

You will partner with Enterprise Architecture, Development, Infrastructure, and Security, as well as Analytics leadership, to identify sources, set a sequenced roadmap, and deliver data products for analytics, AI, and operations with strong governance and regulatory alignment.

Qualifications

• 12+ years in enterprise data, data platform, or analytics leadership, including senior-level delivery accountability.
• Experience delivering and operating a modern cloud data platform at enterprise scale.
• Proven ability to define and execute an enterprise data strategy and data products.
• Experience building a data or AI governance function from the ground up.
• Familiarity with regulatory requirements for healthcare data (HIPAA/SOC 2/HITRUST).

Responsibilities

• Own delivery of the enterprise data platform and data lakehouse, with governance standards and cost management.
• Define and evolve the data strategy and multi-year roadmap to align with business priorities.
• Lead the data and AI governance functions, policies, and oversight structures.
• Collaborate with CISO, Legal, Compliance and AI teams to ensure privacy and regulatory alignment.
• Represent governance posture to executive leadership and clients, manage risk.
