Job summary

Random Bit LLC is seeking an Enterprise Architect with a strong technical background to work across business and technology. The role focuses on creating current/future business and IT process views to drive operational changes within Enterprise Architecture guidelines.

You will collaborate with Solution Architects and must have experience in integration architectures, architectural patterns, and SOA within Health and Human Services contexts, with Medicaid experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering or related discipline.
• 8+ years enterprise architecture experience in health/government sectors.
• Familiarity with TOGAF, ITIL, ISO standards, FEA, MITA.
• Experience with EA modeling tools (SparxEA, ArchiMate) in HHS context.
• Knowledge of data management, data architecture and data governance in HHS.
• Understanding of cloud architecture and implementation patterns.
• Strong analytical, negotiation and stakeholder management skills.
• Excellent English communication (written and oral).

Responsibilities

• Recommends and participates in the design, development and maintenance of the Enterprise Architecture (EA) including design processes, architectural artifact requirements, and architectural best practices.
• Leads the analysis, evaluation and development of enterprise long-term strategic and operating plans and delivery roadmaps, ensuring EA objectives align with business objectives.
• Develops data management strategy, data architecture, and data governance processes.
• Designs and implements standards, tools and methodologies, and leads adoption.
• Collaborates with projects to review objectives and constraints of each solution and ensure conformance with EA, SOA, and software patterns.
• Ensures technology solutions are secured according to Identity Management and Access Control standards.
