Job summary

CSAA Insurance Group is hiring a Principal Enterprise Architect - Remote to help define and realize the enterprise technology vision. You will lead cross-domain architecture work, guide cloud migration, and influence strategic decisions across engineering, product, and business teams.

You will partner with executives to create roadmaps, set priorities, and deliver secure, scalable solutions that align with business goals. This is a remote-first role with national scope in the United States.

Qualifications

• 15+ years experience building scalable, multi-tier distributed cloud-native architectures.
• Experience designing APIs and integrations with external systems including 3rd parties; cloud provider experience (AWS, Azure or GCP).
• Experience designing systems with messaging; SQL and NoSQL databases.
• Frontend ReactJS knowledge; mobile app development a plus.
• Security best practices in system design.
• 15+ years in systems development across multiple types of systems.
• 5+ years in a domain-specific design, development and deployment role.
• Experience in CRM/Marketing/Insurance/Claims/Financial domains.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate design and build enterprise solutions in collaboration with engineering, product, and program leaders.
• Lead Application Integration, Data, and Platform architecture vision.
• Tackle complex projects and contribute to strategic organizational goals.
• Develop migration strategies toward cloud architecture.
• Advise business leaders on technical decisions and industry trends.
• Create roadmaps linking business strategies to capabilities and milestones.
• Deliver pragmatic approaches to meet immediate business needs.
• Learn quickly in a matrixed organization and manage priorities with minimal escalation.
• Balance architectural principles with cost, risk, and schedules.
• Leverage in-house and outsourced resources to protect IP.
