Job summary

Zekai is seeking a remote English Voice Expert (US) contractor to support language data and AI advancement. You will evaluate nativeness and fluency of English audio and provide detailed feedback.

Responsibilities include scoring pronunciation, documenting insights in clear English, and collaborating with project coordinators to ensure requirements are met. Native-level English with at least B2 proficiency is preferred; remote work may be worldwide where allowed.

Qualifications

• Native English speaker based in the United States.
• Proficiency in English at least at B2 level for written and spoken communication.
• Background in voice, linguistics, phonetics, music/audio engineering, or related fields preferred.
• Experience with audio analysis, transcription, or linguistic assessment is valued.

Responsibilities

• Listen to English audio clips and evaluate nativeness and fluency of speaker or model output.
• Assess pronunciation, intonation, and linguistic authenticity per guidelines.
• Document assessments with clear written feedback in English, noting key linguistic factors.
• Provide detailed justifications for each evaluation to ensure clarity and consistency.
• Collaborate with project coordinators to clarify requirements or address ambiguities in language content.
• Contribute insights to help improve AI model performance in English language understanding and generation.
• Ensure timely and accurate completion of assigned audio review tasks, maintaining high quality standards.
