Job summary

Outlier is seeking detail-oriented English speakers to review AI-generated media from the comfort of their home. You will roleplay live conversations with an AI voice model, assess image and video outputs, and explain in writing what looked or sounded off. Your work helps improve AI systems and informs future research.

Qualifications

• Fluent English with clear written communication and comfort with conversational speech.
• Strong attention to detail, with the patience to replay or zoom in when something seems off.
• Experience writing short, evidence-based explanations or reviews.
• Ability to make clear decisions when both options have flaws.
• Comfortable thinking on your feet and explaining your reasoning.
• Currently accepting applicants from multiple countries including the United States.

Responsibilities

• Holding live, scenario-based conversations in English with AI voice models and ranking naturalness, usefulness, and clarity.
• Comparing AI-generated images and videos and judging which follows the prompt better.
• Inspecting outputs closely, including zooming in and replaying, to spot problems like distorted anatomy, flickering or unnatural motion, text errors, and audio-video mismatches.
• Rating outputs across dimensions and writing detailed explanations in English.
