Job summary

San Juan College seeks an adjunct faculty member to teach college‑level courses and labs in the qualified discipline, on a semester basis.

Responsibilities include developing instructional materials, presenting content, evaluating student learning, maintaining records, and offering at least one weekly office hour. Remote or hybrid teaching may be approved within NM, AZ, CO and TX, with ongoing professional development and alignment to college values.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree with at least 18 graduate credit hours in a relevant field.
• Experience teaching traditional, hybrid, and online courses is preferred.
• Access to home internet and a personal computer is required.

Responsibilities

• Teach college-level courses and labs as assigned.
• Develop and revise instructional materials and curricula.
• Present material in an organized manner and evaluate student learning.
• Maintain student records and teach day, evening, weekend, and online courses.
• Maintain minimum one office hour per week per course and participate in adjunct development.
