Job summary

Amgen is seeking an Engineering Project Manager to lead GMP manufacturing projects. You will apply knowledge of process equipment, materials flow, and utilities to support readiness, commissioning, startup, and qualification.

You will coordinate activities with engineering, maintenance, and suppliers, ensure adherence to GMP controls, data integrity, and program timelines, and help deliver milestones for regulated production.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree (or foreign equivalent) in Business and Science or related field, with 2 years of experience in manufacturing/production.
• Experience in GMP-regulated environments and equipment commissioning/qualification.
• Ability to coordinate with engineering, maintenance, and suppliers to ensure readiness and on-time delivery.
• Knowledge of process equipment, material flow, and utilities in GMP settings.

Responsibilities

• Applies working knowledge of GMP manufacturing to support equipment readiness, transitions, and project milestones.
• Coordinates execution using production schedules, timelines, and work plans to ensure timely delivery and GMP compliance.
• Supports equipment readiness for GMP operation by following documented procedures and data integrity requirements.
• Collaborates with engineering, maintenance, and external suppliers to prepare equipment for GMP operation and startup.
• Participates in commissioning, startup, and qualification activities to verify equipment suitability.
