Job summary

Amgen is seeking an Engineering Project Manager to support GMP manufacturing by coordinating equipment readiness, project timelines and cross‑functional collaboration with engineering, maintenance and external suppliers. This role ensures compliance with documented procedures and quality systems while enabling timely startup and qualification of manufacturing equipment.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Business and Science, Business Administration or related field and 2 years of experience in Manufacturing Production or related occupation.
• Experience in GMP-regulated manufacturing environments and adherence to quality, safety and regulatory standards.
• Coordination with engineering, maintenance and suppliers to prepare equipment for GMP use.

Responsibilities

• Apply knowledge of process equipment, material flow and utilities in GMP manufacturing.
• Coordinate execution activities using production schedules and project timelines.
• Support equipment readiness and startup in regulated production environments.
• Collaborate with engineering, maintenance and external suppliers to ensure readiness before startup.
• Participate in commissioning, startup and qualification activities for equipment and utilities.
