Job summary

Tekmetric is seeking an Engineering Manager in the United States to lead a team of engineers in designing, developing, and delivering cloud-based shop management software. You will guide technical direction, ensure high-quality engineering work, and mentor engineers to grow their careers while aligning efforts with product goals.

Qualifications

7+ years in software development with at least 2 years of engineering leadership experience.
Built and developed an impactful team of passionate engineers.
Able to tackle sophisticated engineering problems that deliver results.
Passionate about a product-focused environment with strong customer impact.

Responsibilities

Lead and mentor a team of engineers, providing technical guidance and career development support
Foster a collaborative and inclusive team environment
Own your team’s delivery, quality and timely execution
Guide key technical decisions around new product initiatives
Work closely with other departments, including product, design, and QA, to align engineering activities with company objectives
Continuously evaluate and improve engineering processes and practices to enhance team efficiency and product quality
Assist in recruiting, onboarding, and training new engineering team members
