Job summary

Fieldwire by Hilti is seeking an Engineering Manager, IT & Security to lead a small team responsible for internal IT, security, and compliance across audits, risk assessment, and policy enforcement. You will work with Recruiting, HR, Finance, and Engineering to shape IT & Security vision and drive secure coding practices and cloud security controls.

You will build and scale a security program, champion improvements to policies and procedures, and guide a growing team through security incidents

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or relevant experience required.
• 4+ years in Security and IT with at least 1 year of people management.
• Experience building security guidelines and processes across multiple teams.
• Strong knowledge of security best practices, standards, and frameworks.
• Excellent organizational and written/verbal communication skills.
• Willing to learn quickly and speak up when help is needed.

Responsibilities

• Lead and support IT and Security teams to improve processes and career development.
• Guide compliance audits and collaborate with cross-functional teams on security questionnaires.
• Address IT & Security issues company-wide and manage incidents.
• Define security requirements and best practices for the organization.
• Plan and implement security projects at a company level and ensure proper execution.
• Collaborate with Operations on security collaboration and governance.
