Job summary

Fieldwire is seeking an Engineering Manager, IT & Security to lead a small team dedicated to protecting our systems as Fieldwire scales. You will drive security initiatives, guide audits, and collaborate with Operations on security questionnaires, while improving processes across web, mobile, cloud, and internal networks.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent security/IT experience.
• 4+ years in security and IT with at least 1 year in people management.
• Experience building technical security guidelines across teams.
• Strong knowledge of security best practices, standards, frameworks.
• Excellent organizational and written/verbal communication.
• Capable of learning quickly and speaking up when needed.
• Experience managing audits and certifications (ISO 27001:2022, SOC 2).
• Familiarity with GDPR and data residency requirements.
• Experience with offensive security engagements.
• Familiarity with static code analysis and fuzz testing.
• Contributions to security community/open source.
• Experience with AWS security tools Inspector, Detective, GuardDuty, WAF.

AtFieldwire,we'relooking for our next EngineeringManager, IT & Security to have the following skills and experiences:

• Bachelor's degree or relative experience.
• 4+ years of experience in Security and IT with at least 1 year people management experience.
• Prior experience building technical security guidelines and processes across multiple teams.
• Strong knowledge of security best practices, standards, and frameworks.
• Phenomenal organizational and communication skills (Both verbal and written)
• Patience and desire tohelp andsolve problems.
• Not afraid of the unknown and capable of learning new things quickly.
• Will speak up when help is needed.

• Management of audits and certifications such as ISO 27001:2022 and SOC2.
• Knowledge of requirements such as data residency and GDPR.
• Experience in offensive security engagements.
• Familiarity with static code analysis and/or fuzz testing.
• Contributions and participation in the security community and/oropen sourcesoftware.
• Experience with AWS security and tools such as Inspector, Detective,GuardDuty, and WAF.

Compensation:

The estimated pay ranges for this role are as follows: $195,000 - $220,000.

The salary rangerepresentsthe low and high end of the salary range for this job in the US. Minimums and maximums may vary based on location. The actual salary offer will carefully consider a wide range of factors such as your skills,qualificationsand experience. In addition to thesalaryyou may be eligible foracorporate bonus which can range up to30%.
