Horizon3 AI seeks an Engineering Manager to lead the EDR remediation team, turning offensive learnings into defensive actions. You will manage a diverse backend engineering group, align architecture with product roadmaps, and drive scalable, secure SaaS capabilities in a hybrid/remote environment with Chicago presence.

The role emphasizes hiring and growth, setting clear career paths, and maintaining high technical and reliability standards in a multi-tenant SaaS platform.

Qualificações

• Familiarity with EDR or security operations to collaborate with domain experts.
• Proven experience leading highly technical backend/platform engineering teams in SaaS/cybersecurity.
• Track record delivering products under tight deadlines with ambiguous requirements.
• Strong stakeholder management across many engineering teams, documenting risks and tradeoffs.

Responsabilidades

• Lead, mentor, and grow backend engineers and security practitioners with EDR expertise.
• Translate EDR workflows into buildable requirements and product capabilities.
• Partner with a staff-level technical lead on architecture and with Product on roadmap sequencing.
• Translate ambiguous goals into sequenced, deliverable work and actively manage scope.
• Remain technically engaged to challenge assumptions and unblock the team while delivering outcomes.
• Establish operational discipline: design reviews, release practices, on-call, and incident response.
