Job summary

Chronosphere, a Palo Alto Networks company, is seeking an Engineering Manager to lead a distributed systems team powering the logging platform. You will mentor engineers, shape the roadmap, and partner with product and design to deliver reliable software at scale.

You will work with a team of 10+ engineers, drive delivery, remove barriers, and ensure production reliability while balancing long-term technical strategy with day-to-day priorities in a remote US setting.

Responsibilities

• Partner with product and design to vet direction for the logging product and drive alignment.
• Manage projects to product and infrastructure roadmaps and drive day-to-day execution.
• Balance work across contributors and foster a healthy team environment.
• Hire and grow a team of 10+ engineers through all career stages.
• Eliminate barriers to execution and drive efficiency and velocity.
• Own reliability of the production systems and ensure they are scalable and well-maintained.
• Collaborate with other engineering leaders on wider initiatives.
