Job summary

Chronosphere, a Palo Alto Networks company, is seeking an Engineering Manager to lead our Developer Infrastructure team. You will nurture a strong team, own the roadmap, and ensure reliability across internal tooling used by multiple product groups.

You will guide engineers, balance priorities, and collaborate with leadership to drive delivery, hiring, and process improvements while maintaining a healthy team culture and growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• Empathy and an understanding of how to empower and support engineers to do their best work.
• A high level of organization and ability to manage multiple projects from concept through delivery and production support.
• Extensive experience with full developer toolchains in a modern SDLC including CI/CD, build automation and pipelines, and automated testing.
• Familiarity with public cloud infrastructure supporting multi-tenant SaaS products.
• Strong background in partnering with recruiting, making hiring decisions and closing hires, and building a diverse team.

Responsibilities

• Support and develop engineers through feedback and coaching, setting context and expectations, and eliminating barriers to execution.
• Own the engineering roadmap for Developer Infrastructure and manage projects within that roadmap.
• Set priorities in partnership with Infrastructure leadership, establish delivery sequence, and drive day-to-day execution.
• Own the reliability of our Developer Infrastructure; ensure uptime and reliability through focus, tools and processes.
• Partner with other engineering leaders to drive process changes and scale effectively.
• Maintain a healthy culture in your team with support from engineering leadership and People team.
