Canonical is seeking an Engineering Manager to lead teams focused on Big Data and MySQL, developing scalable data solutions in Kubernetes and cloud environments. You will hire, coach, mentor, and contribute code to demonstrate engineering excellence while aligning with Agile practices and a culture of quality.

The role supports remote work globally with occasional travel for sprints and leadership meetings.

Qualifications

• Experience running in production and at scale, preferably Big Data or MySQL.
• Proven ability to build high-quality, open-source software.
• Strong leadership and mentorship capabilities with a track record of growing people.
• Ability to drive engineering practices around performance and quality.
