Legion Intelligence is seeking an Engineering Manager to lead a team of engineers building customer-ready AI applications on top of our platform. You’ll blend AI engineering, leadership, technical strategy, and product partnership to ship high-quality agentic AI solutions that solve meaningful customer problems.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Artificial Intelligence, or a related field.
• 7 years of software engineering experience, including experience leading engineering teams.
• 2 years of experience managing engineers building customer-facing software products.
• Strong understanding of modern AI application development, including LLMs, AI agents, MCP, tool calling, workflows, and enterprise integrations.
• Demonstrated ability to lead teams through ambiguity and rapidly deliver production‑quality software.
• Strong technical judgment with the ability to guide architecture and engineering tradeoff discussions.
• Excellent communication skills and experience partnering closely with Product, Design, and Engineering leadership.
• Proven experience hiring, mentoring, and developing high‑performing engineers.
• Growth mindset with a collaborative, low‑ego leadership style.
• Passion for building inclusive, psychologically safe teams that value ownership and continuous improvement.

Responsibilities

• Lead, mentor, and grow a team of engineers building AI solutions
• Drive planning, execution, and delivery of production-ready agentic AI applications from concept through production.
• Partner closely with Product and Platform Engineering to prioritize work that delivers measurable customer value.
• Foster a culture of ownership, collaboration, rapid iteration, and continuous learning.
• Define engineering best practices for agentic workflows, tool integrations, evaluations, and production readiness.
• Balance speed of execution with engineering quality, reliability, and long‑term maintainability.
• Remove blockers, improve development processes, and build robust AI applications alongside your team
• Work closely with internal stakeholders to translate business problems into engineering priorities.
