Job summary

SOLV Energy, Inc. is seeking a Senior Preconstruction Project Manager – Energy Storage to lead the Energy Storage Preconstruction Group, managing scope, budget, and schedule from notice of award to mobilization. This role is fully remote with location details to be discussed in interview.

You will coordinate meetings, manage bid packages, set up CMiC, and collaborate with engineering, procurement, accounting and legal to ensure timely procurement and successful contract execution.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in energy storage construction or related field.
• Engineering/Construction Management or Architecture degree or equivalent.
• Thorough understanding of plans and specs.
• Field experience: 5–8 years in project roles.
• Strong leadership to guide remote teams.
• Excellent written and verbal communication.
• Proficient with MS Office and industry tools like Bluebeam.
• Knowledge of contract law and project accounting.
• Organizational and people skills; detail‑oriented.
• Able to travel about 25%.

Responsibilities

• Perform all Preconstruction Project Manager responsibilities.
• Maintain cost control ledger and job cost statements.
• Prepare billings and expedite payments.
• Set up and maintain CMiC system.
• Prepare bid packages and solicit bids.
• Review plans for completeness and accuracy.
• Supervise Preconstruction Engineers and clerical staff.
• Ensure procurement aligns with scope, budget, schedules.
• Collaborate with business development, engineering, accounting, construction, legal.
• Track design constraints and lead‑time to release long lead items.
• Define LNTPs and manage design iterations for cost accuracy.
• Provide timely cost forecasting and EAC updates.
• Mitigate project risks with the team.
