Job summary

SOLV Energy, Inc. is seeking a Senior Preconstruction Project Manager – Energy Storage to lead the Energy Storage Preconstruction Group, managing the project scope, budget, and schedule from notice of award through mobilization.

This fully remote role will coordinate with multiple departments and oversee procurement, cost control, and bi‑directional communications with Owners and Engineers. You will guide bid packages, manage schedules, and ensure long-lead procurements align with LNTP scopes.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years Energy Storage Construction experience.
• Engineering/Construction Management or Architecture degree or equivalent experience.
• Thorough understanding of plans and specifications.
• Field experience (5–8 years) as Project Engineer or Assistant Superintendent.
• Leadership ability to manage remote teams and coordinate across departments.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficiency with MS Office and industry tools (e.g., Bluebeam Revu).
• Knowledge of contract law and project accounting.

Responsibilities

• Lead the Energy Storage Preconstruction Group’s efforts and daily management.
• Maintain cost control ledger and job cost statements.
• Prepare billings and expedite payments.
• Set up and maintain the CMiC system.
• Prepare bid packages; solicit and evaluate bids.
• Review plans for completeness and accuracy.
• Supervise Preconstruction Project Engineers and clerical staff.
• Ensure procurement aligns with LNTP scope, budget, and schedule.
• Collaborate across departments to create contract scopes of work.
• Coordinate design constraints and material lead-times for long-lead items.
