Job summary

SOLV Energy, Inc. seeks a Senior Preconstruction Project Manager – Energy Storage to lead the Preconstruction Group from notice of award to mobilization. This fully remote role requires coordinating with engineering, procurement, and legal teams to manage scope, budget, and schedule while ensuring timely cost reporting and risk mitigation.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of energy storage construction experience.
• Field experience 5–8 years as Project Engineer or Assistant Superintendent.
• Strong understanding of plans and specifications.

Responsibilities

• Lead the Energy Storage Preconstruction Group with daily management and coordination.
• Maintain cost control ledger and job cost statements.
• Prepare billings and expedite payments.
• Set up and maintain CMiC system processes.
• Prepare bid packages; solicit and evaluate bids.
• Review plans for completeness and accuracy.
• Supervise and train Preconstruction staff.
• Ensure procurement activities align with scope, budget, and schedules.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define scopes of work.
• Track design constraints and long-lead procurement items.
