Job summary

SOLV Energy is seeking a Senior Preconstruction Project Manager – Energy Storage to lead the Energy Storage Preconstruction Group from notice of award to mobilization, coordinating with engineering, procurement, and construction teams to drive LNTP creation and cost control.

The role is fully remote and requires travel up to 25%. Ideal candidates will have 5+ years in energy storage construction with scheduling and estimating experience, plus strong contract and cost accounting skills.

Qualifications

• A minimum of 3 years in energy storage construction or equivalent.
• Engineering, construction management, or architectural degree or equivalent experience.
• Strong understanding of plans and specifications.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage the Energy Storage Preconstruction Group from notice of award to mobilization.
• Maintain cost control, prepare bills, and ensure timely payments.
• Set up and maintain CMiC system and procurement processes.
• Prepare bid packages and evaluate bids; write project procedures.
• Review plans for completeness; supervise staff; manage schedules and risk.
• Coordinate with BD, engineering, accounting, construction, and legal for scopes of work.
• Travel up to 25% and represent SOLV Energy in owner meetings.
