Job summary

SOLV Energy is seeking an Energy Storage Project Executive to lead multiple projects with bottom-line accountability, coordinating engineering, project controls, finance, and field operations for successful delivery.

This role can be fully remote or hybrid with regular in-office presence in San Diego, CA. Requires 10+ years in utility or industrial projects and strong contract, risk, and project accounting knowledge.

Qualifications

• Minimum 10 years of experience in design/construction of utility or commercial/industrial infrastructure.
• Direct relevant industry experience with electrical equipment installation.
• Fundamental knowledge of contract law and project accounting.
• Leadership ability to manage remote cross-functional teams.
• Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills.
• Strong written and spoken English communication.

Responsibilities

• Lead multiple project teams.
• Review and negotiate contracts with clients, subcontractors, and suppliers.
• Review and approve project schedules, estimates, budgets, and profit margins.
• Make executive decisions on high-cost, high-risk work.
• Lead change management with Owners/Subcontractors and regulators.
• Support BD, estimating, and services departments.
• Hire, train, and mentor project team members.
• Oversee project billings to maximize cash flow and minimize pay cycles.
• Report cost forecasts and cost at completion to management.
