Job summary

SOLV Energy, Inc. is seeking a seasoned Energy Storage Preconstruction Project Manager to lead complex LNTP projects remotely. You will coordinate across engineering, procurement, estimating, and legal teams to define scopes, manage budgets, and ensure on-time delivery.

You will oversee cost tracking, bid packages, and CMiC setup while mentoring project engineers. Strong communication and leadership are essential for success in a distributed team and fast-changing environments.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of Energy Storage Construction Experience.
• Engineering, Construction Management or Architectural degree, or equivalent experience.
• Thorough understanding of plans and specifications.
• Field experience (5-8 years, Project Engineer or Assistant Superintendent).
• Leadership ability – able to lead a remote team and produce high performance.
• Effective written and verbal communications skills and organizational skills.
• Strong computer skills with MS Office suite and industry tools like Bluebeam Revu.
• Fundamental knowledge of contract law and project accounting.
• Organizational and communication skills; strong people skills.
• Detail-oriented, motivated self-starter.
• Able to travel (estimated 25%).
• 5+ years construction experience; 2+ years scheduling and estimating experience.

Responsibilities

• Lead and oversee a Preconstruction Project Manager role across multiple departments.
• Maintain cost control ledger and job cost statements.
• Prepare billings and expedite payments.
• Set up and maintain all aspects of the CMiC system.
• Prepare bid packages and evaluate bids.
• Write project procedures and review plans for completeness and accuracy.
• Supervise and train Preconstruction Project Engineers and clerical staff.
• Ensure procurement activities align with LNTP scope, budget, and schedules.
• Collaborate with business development, engineering, accounting, construction, and legal to create contract scopes of work.
• Define and create LNTPs and manage design constraints and lead times.
