Job summary

SOLV Energy, Inc. is seeking a Preconstruction Project Engineer specializing in Energy Storage to join our remote team.

You will coordinate the preconstruction deliverables, support engineering design reviews, manage RFIs, and help finalize BOMs to ensure project profitability and schedule adherence. Work closely with project engineering, estimating, procurement, and operations to validate assumptions, track design changes, and support EPC project execution plans across nationwide energy storage

Qualifications

1-3 years of Energy Storage construction or design experience.
Internship in construction preferred.
Basic understanding of construction cost accounting.
Basic estimating and scheduling skills.
Ability to read and understand plans and specifications.
Effective organizational and communication skills.

Responsibilities

Coordinate with Precon PM and engineering teams to manage deliverables.
Maintain project documentation including drawings, RFIs and submittals.
Support subcontractor coordination, safety planning and project engineering tasks.
Assist in transitioning from preconstruction to construction with LNTPs and readiness.
Track design changes and align engineering with cost and schedule targets.
Develop EPC execution plans and review contract documents for constructability.
