Job summary

SOLV Energy, LLC is seeking a Preconstruction Project Engineer- Energy Storage to join our remote team. You will support the preconstruction phase, coordinate deliverables, and help the engineering team finalize BOMs and project documentation for energy storage projects.

You'll work with precon PMs, internal/external engineers, and operations to track RFIs, submittals, cost reporting, and scheduling, ensuring alignment with scope and targets.

Qualifications

• 1–3 years in Energy Storage construction or design.
• Internship in construction preferred.
• Ability to read and understand plans and specifications.
• Basic estimating and scheduling skills.
• Strong English written and verbal communication.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate with Precon PM and engineering teams.
• Maintain project documentation, RFIs, submittals, and logs.
• Support subcontractor coordination, safety planning, and project engineering.
• Aid transition from preconstruction to construction with documentation and readiness.
• Assist in cost reporting and schedule alignment with teams.
