Job summary

SOLV Energy is seeking a Preconstruction Project Engineer- Energy Storage to support the preconstruction team and manage project deliverables for profitability and schedule goals. The role collaborates with engineering, estimating, procurement, and operations to validate design assumptions and ensure constructability.

This position is fully remote within the United States, with interview discussions covering location specifics; compensation ranges from $72,000 to $90,000 per year and includes

Qualifications

• 1–3 years in energy storage construction or design.
• Energy storage field experience a plus.
• Basic understanding of construction cost accounting.
• Effective written and verbal English communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with Precon PM, internal and external engineering teams.
• Maintain project documentation and CMiC records.
• Support subcontractor coordination, safety planning, and general engineering functions.
• Coordinate preconstruction to construction handover and LNTP development.
• Provide project engineering support including meetings and cost reporting.
• Coordinate with engineering, estimating, procurement, and operations to validate design assumptions and schedules.
• Assist in developing and reviewing EPC project execution plans.
• Review EPC contract documents for constructability and alignment.
