Job summary

AtkinsRéalis is seeking a Proposal Manager Energy – Remote, based out of Oak Ridge, TN, to lead federally focused proposals for US commercial nuclear and federal markets. You will drive a compliant, compelling bid process with a cross-functional team and ensure timelyDelivery from RFP receipt to submission.

You will coordinate SMEs, manage review gates, and align production plans while engaging with Capture Managers to build a strong value proposition for customers and partners.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field is required, with experience in project management and team supervision.
• Minimum of 15 years of proposal development experience with US government programs.
• Proven experience managing complex, multi-contributor proposals under tight deadlines.
• Minimum of 10 years of Federal Government Acquisition and Proposal Development environments experience preferred.
• Commercial Nuclear experience is desired.
• Ability to lead cross-functional teams and manage stakeholder expectations.

Responsibilities

• Lead the entire proposal process from receipt of an RFP/RFQ to final submission.
• Manage proposal planning, scheduling, and production plans aligned with client requirements.
• Direct a multi-disciplinary team, unblock SMEs, and escalate risks as needed.
• Support storyboarding, content creation, and formatting for clear, persuasive proposals.
• Conduct structured quality reviews to ensure client requirements are met and timely submissions.
• Engage with contracts, legal, and procurement to address terms and conditions.
