Job summary

Crowley Maritime Corporation seeks a Director, Energy PMO to lead planning and governance for energy construction, dry dock, and infrastructure programs. You will establish discipline in schedule, cost, scope, risk, and controls while coordinating with Operations, Engineering, and Finance to ensure safe, predictable delivery.

The role requires strong leadership of project controls, governance, and site management in shipyard environments, with travel as needed.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of progressive experience leading complex capital projects, dry dock programs, shipyard engagements, or related functions.
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Project Management, Business, Maritime Operations, or related field (advanced degree or certs preferred).
• Experience leading project managers, project controls, construction site teams, and subcontractor resources in high‑complexity environments.

Responsibilities

• Lead PMO governance, standards, and execution discipline across Energy construction, dry dock programs, and related energy programs.
• Direct integrated project planning: scope definition, execution strategy, schedule, cost, contracting approach, and risk planning.
• Oversee dry dock and capital construction projects from planning through closeout, with lessons learned.
• Direct project controls: scheduling, cost control, forecasting, change control, progress reporting, and executive visibility.
• Provide leadership for construction site management to ensure safe, coordinated execution in shipyards and project sites.
• Coordinate with Operations, Engineering, Supply Chain, HSE, Finance, Legal, and leadership to align execution with readiness and priorities.
• Identify and mitigate risks related to schedule, cost, safety, scope, quality, and contractor performance.
• Standardize tools, templates, cadences, and PMO practices across the portfolio.

Education

Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Project Management, Business, Maritime Operations, or related field
