Job summary

Jones Lang LaSalle (JLL) seeks an Energy Manager to lead energy management and decarbonization programs across client assignments. You’ll oversee audits, BAS optimization, data governance, and ESG reporting while partnering with site teams to reduce energy intensity and costs.

You will develop roadmaps, support climate goals, and mentor colleagues as part of a collaborative energy team at JLL. This role requires a strong technical background and leadership skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a science, engineering, math, or related field.
• Strong understanding of HVAC, electrical, mechanical, and BAS systems and their impact on sustainability goals.
• Advanced understanding of energy conservation measures.
• Ability to analyze corporate portfolio by benchmarking and reviewing utility data to drive sustainability measures.
• Advanced understanding of GHG emissions scopes and reporting.
• Familiarity with energy procurement processes and renewable options.
• Strong communication and negotiation skills; ability to drive stakeholders to adopt new ideas.
• Experience leading technical teams and prioritizing deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Conduct facility energy audits and assess ECMs and retrofits.
• Evaluate lifecycle costs and ROI for proposed projects.
• Draft scopes for retrofits and improvements; implement M&V plans.
• Produce energy consumption and GHG reports for disclosure.
• Support audits and regulatory verifications with data and documentation.
• Collaborate with site managers to optimize BAS operations and drive improvements.
