GDH is seeking a remote contract specialist with deep SQL Server and web tech experience to support energy IT applications. You will collaborate with stakeholders to design reports and dashboards for TIES Desktop and TIES Connect, while deploying and maintaining servers and integrations.

The role emphasizes reliability, security, and strong problem-solving in a fast-paced energy IT environment. The ideal candidate has 5+ years in energy or related tech, experience with ETL, REST APIs, and ETRM

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years in energy industry or related technical field.
• Strong SQL Server development, scripting, query optimization, and troubleshooting.
• Experience with web technologies, ETL, REST APIs, and integrations.
• Prior experience with Trilogy's TIES Desktop and TIES Connect preferred.
• Familiarity with Energy Trading and Risk Management (ETRM) solutions desirable.
• Proven ability to support and maintain complex applications independently.
• Relevant education, training, certifications, or equivalent experience.
• Remote work eligibility with ability to manage multiple priorities.
• Authorized to work in the United States.

Responsabilités

• Collaborate to design, develop, and implement reports, interfaces, dashboards for TIES applications.
• Provide technical support, troubleshoot issues to maintain operations.
• Manage software deployments, updates, and ongoing maintenance for TIES systems.
• Build, configure, and maintain application and web servers with security patches.
• Coordinate with DBAs to optimize database performance and environment strategies.
• Support projects to improve reliability, stability, and usability of applications.
• Develop and optimize SQL scripts, queries, and troubleshoot database issues.
• Work with web technologies, ETL processes, REST APIs, and system integrations.
• Leverage ETRM experience to enhance business operations.
• Ensure security standards and best practices in system and application management.
