GDH is seeking a remote contract IT professional to support natural gas pipeline IT applications within the energy industry. You will collaborate with stakeholders and IT teams to enhance and maintain critical applications, focusing on stability, performance, and deployments.

The role involves managing technical support, development, and deployment tasks for TIES applications, SQL scripts, REST APIs, and ETL processes, with an emphasis on reliability and security.

Qualificações

• 5+ years in energy industry or related technical field.
• Strong SQL Server development, scripting, query optimization, and troubleshooting.
• Experience with web technologies: web apps, ETL, REST APIs, and integrations.
• Prior experience with Trilogy's TIES suite (TIES Desktop, TIES Connect) preferred.
• Familiarity with Energy Trading and Risk Management (ETRM) solutions desirable.

Responsabilidades

• Partner with stakeholders to design and implement reports, interfaces, dashboards, and business solutions for TIES applications.
• Provide technical support, troubleshoot issues, and maintain operational efficiency.
• Manage software deployments, updates, and ongoing maintenance for TIES applications.
• Build and maintain application and web servers, including security patches.
• Collaborate with DBAs to optimize database performance and environment strategy.
• Support projects to improve reliability, stability, and usability of applications.
• Develop and optimize SQL scripts and troubleshoot database issues.
• Work with REST APIs and system integrations; support ETL processes and web technologies.
• Leverage experience with energy trading to enhance operations and compliance with security standards.
