Job summary

Everforth ECS is seeking an Endpoint Engineer III to support and optimize enterprise endpoint security and data protection across client environments. You will work with Security Engineering and IT teams to ensure effective deployment, policy tuning, and rapid troubleshooting.

Qualifications include 5–8 years in cybersecurity, hands-on EDR/EPP experience, and familiarity with Defender for Endpoint, CrowdStrike, and Trellix. Remote/hybrid options may apply depending on project scope.

Qualifications

• 5–8 years of cybersecurity or security engineering experience
• Hands-on experience administering and troubleshooting enterprise endpoint security technologies (EDR/EPP)
• Experience with Defender for Endpoint, CrowdStrike, Trellix or similar platforms
• Strong understanding of DLP concepts, data classification and labeling
• Knowledge of Windows OS, IAM, networking, cloud services and security architecture
• Experience with security automation via scripting or integrations
• Familiarity with NIST CSF, CIS Controls, ISO 27001

Responsibilities

• Administer and optimize enterprise endpoint security technologies (EDR/EPP, agents, device controls)
• Configure and manage Data Loss Prevention platforms across endpoints, cloud, email, etc.
• Develop and tune security policies to balance protection and operational impact
• Support data classification, encryption, and data protection controls
• Collaborate across IT, security, and platform teams for integration
• Provide advanced troubleshooting and escalate complex issues
• Contribute to security automation and runbooks
• Monitor platform health and deployment status
