Job summary

Elenchus Technologies is seeking a Senior Systems Engineer (Level 3) to lead the EDR program architecture for Microsoft Defender for Endpoint and Trellix HX across hybrid environments, including on-prem, cloud, and VDI.

You will author implementation plans, tune agent configurations, and monitor endpoint health at scale while collaborating with threat analysts to convert intelligence into IOCs using KQL and YARA rules.

Qualifications

• Experience with MDE architecture and deployment via MECM/SCCM or Intune.
• Experience with Trellix HX controllers and agents in restricted networks.
• Deep knowledge of Windows, Linux, and macOS internals.
• DoD IAM Level II/III baseline certifications.

Responsibilities

• Lead lifecycle engineering and scale-out architecture of MDE and Trellix HX across hybrid environments (on-prem, cloud, VDI).
• Collaborate with threat hunting and intelligence analysts to translate intelligence into custom IOCs using KQL and YARA; act as technical advisor to government stakeholders; mentor junior staff.
