Job summary

Everforth ECS is seeking an Endpoint Engineer III to support the administration, deployment, and optimization of enterprise endpoint security and data protection technologies. This remote role collaborates with the Security Engineering Manager, SOC, IT, and infrastructure teams to ensure controls are effectively deployed, maintained, and integrated across client environments.

Qualifications

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information security, or related field.
• Experience: 5–8 years in cybersecurity/security engineering.
• Endpoint Security: Hands-on with EDR/EPP, endpoint agents, host-based controls.
• Platform Experience: Defender for Endpoint, CrowdStrike, Trellix or similar.
• Data Protection: Strong DLP/datasheet knowledge including classification and encryption.
• Security Automation: Scripting to support admin and ops tasks.

Responsibilities

• Administer and optimize enterprise endpoint security technologies (EDR/EPP, agents, device controls).
• Configure and maintain DLP platforms across endpoints, cloud, email, and web.
• Develop and tune endpoint and DLP security policies and configurations.
• Support data classification, labeling, and encryption efforts.
• Coordinate platform deployment, upgrades, and lifecycle management.
