Job summary

DeepSource Technologies is seeking a remote Business Intelligence Analyst & Data Engineer to own the full data lifecycle from pipelines to dashboards. The role spans data infrastructure, analytics, and AI-driven insights, with a focus on reliable data products for stakeholders across the organization.

You’ll work across ETL/ELT design, data quality, modeling optimization, and governance, collaborating with Sales, Finance, Operations, and IT.

Qualifications

• Ownership of end-to-end data products from pipelines to dashboards.
• SQL-heavy with large datasets and complex queries.
• Experience with ETL/ELT pipelines and BI tools.
• Ability to translate business questions into data analyses.
• Storytelling and analytics mindset with AI/LLM awareness.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain ETL/ELT pipelines integrating data from multiple sources into centralized warehouses or marts.
• Ensure data quality, consistency, and integrity across pipelines via validation, testing, and monitoring.
• Optimize data models (star/snowflake) for reporting performance.
• Automate manual data processes and reduce ad hoc spreadsheet work.
• Manage data source connections, credentials, and refresh schedules.
• Troubleshoot and resolve data pipeline failures and discrepancies.
• Build and maintain dashboards/reports in Tableau/Power BI/Looker highlighting actionable insights.
• Partner with stakeholders to gather reporting requirements and translate them into specs.
• Define and maintain a single source of truth for key metrics and data dictionary.
• Conduct ad hoc analyses to inform strategic decisions.
