Job summary

Confluent Health is seeking an EMR Clinical Content Support Specialist to maintain and optimize EMR content, including templates, forms and workflows. The role bridges clinical workflows with technical systems, ensuring documentation tools meet quality and regulatory standards.

You will collaborate with clinicians, IT, and vendors to translate clinical needs into EMR content, participate in testing, and support governance processes. Fully remote role with strong growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in a clinical field or health informatics.
• 2+ years working with EMR/EHR systems in clinical or IT support.
• Strong understanding of clinical documentation workflows and terminology.
• Experience building or supporting EMR templates, forms, or tools.
• Ability to translate clinical requirements into structured EMR content.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication with clinical and technical stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and support EMR clinical content, templates, forms, and workflows.
• Act as SME for industry standard EMR content configuration.
• Collaborate with clinicians and leaders to gather requirements and translate needs into solutions.
• Build, test, and deploy updated clinical content following governance processes.
• Ensure content aligns with CMS/HIPAA and payer documentation standards.
• Troubleshoot content issues and provide timely support and root-cause analysis.
• Partner with IT, informatics, and vendors on EMR upgrades and optimizations.
• Participate in UAT and validate content changes.
• Develop EMR best practices per guidelines and procedures.
• Support training with guidance and reference materials.
• Monitor usage trends to identify workflow improvement opportunities.
