You will manage complex employment litigation, draft pleadings, conduct depositions, and advocate in state and federal courts. The ideal candidate has CA bar, 2+ years of plaintiff-side experience, and strong research, writing, and communication

Qualifikationen

• Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.
• Active California Bar license in good standing.
• Minimum 2 years of California plaintiff-side employment law or employment litigation experience.
• Strong legal research, writing, and oral advocacy skills.
• Demonstrated ability to independently manage a single-plaintiff caseload.
• Direct experience handling discrimination, retaliation, or wrongful termination cases.
• Experience litigating in California Superior Courts and U.S. District Courts.
• Excellent client communication and organizational skills.

Aufgaben

• Manage California plaintiff-side employment matters from intake through resolution.
• Draft pleadings, motions, and discovery for state and federal court cases.
• Conduct and defend depositions under the California Code of Civil Procedure.
• Prepare and respond to discovery requests, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
• Appear at mediations, settlement conferences, and hearings.
• Prepare cases for arbitration and trial in various California forums.
• Communicate directly with clients, opposing counsel, and subject matter experts.
