• Active California Bar membership in good standing.

• Employment litigation experience is strongly preferred.
• Senior candidates should demonstrate the ability to independently manage significant litigation and mentor or supervise junior attorneys.
• Trial and substantial deposition experience are preferred for senior-level candidates.

Responsibilities

• Handle employment litigation matters from inception through resolution, trial, and appeal.
• Defend employers in wage and hour class actions, PAGA representative actions, FLSA collective actions, and individual employment disputes.
• Handle discrimination, harassment, retaliation, wrongful termination, contractual, trade secret, and related employment matters.
• Conduct legal research and prepare persuasive briefs, pleadings, motions, and case evaluations.
• Propound and respond to discovery and manage document-intensive litigation.
• Prepare for, take, and defend fact, corporate representative, and expert depositions based on experience level.
• Prepare and argue substantive and dispositive motions in state and federal court.
• Work directly with clients, witnesses, experts, opposing counsel, and internal litigation teams.
• Manage case strategy, investigation, deadlines, and client reporting.
• Assist with trial preparation and participate in hearings, mediations, arbitrations, and trials.
• Senior attorneys will help supervise associates, guide litigation strategy, strengthen client relationships, and support leadership of the employment practice.
