Job summary

Mission Recruiting, LLC is seeking an employment litigator to take meaningful responsibility handling single-plaintiff matters from intake to resolution in a fully remote, technology-driven practice. You will manage pleadings, discovery, depositions, mediations, and strategic resolutions with a dedicated paralegal and operations team.

The base salary ranges from $140,000 to $350,000+ DOE, with an uncapped bonus starting at 3% and scaling to 5–6% at higher thresholds, and no billable-hour

Qualifications

• 5+ years of employment litigation experience (plaintiff or defense).
• Experience with wage-and-hour/PAGA/FEHA/ADA matters.
• Settlement experience with clear grasp of fees and settlements.
• Strong negotiation and litigation skills.
• Trial experience is a plus but not required.

Responsibilities

• Manage a docket of plaintiff-side employment matters from intake through resolution.
• Draft and review complaints, pleadings and discovery.
• Handle motion practice, mediations, and settlement negotiations.
• Take and defend depositions and prepare clients and witnesses.
• Collaborate with firm leadership and track deadlines using firm systems.

What You'll Bring

• 5+ years of employment litigation experience, plaintiff or defense side
• Experience with wage-and-hour/PAGA claims or FEHA/ADA matters
• Settlement experience, with a clear grasp of settlement amounts and fees
• Strong negotiation and adversarial litigation skills
• Comfort thriving in a fast-paced, structured environment; trial experience a plus but not required
• Active California Bar membership in good standing

The Role

• Manage a docket of plaintiff-side employment matters from intake through resolution

• Collaborate with firm leadership and internal teams, tracking deadlines and case progress using firm systems
• The position is fully remote, and each attorney is supported by a dedicated paralegal and client experience specialist while managing a full caseload.
