Job summary

Paylocity is seeking an Employee Experience Specialist I to deliver high-quality HR support across the full employee lifecycle. You will handle inquiries, guide employees and people leaders, and act as a voice for employee experience during HR system updates.

Ideal candidates have a Bachelors degree in HR or related field and 2+ years in a similar role, with HRIS experience and strong communication skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelors degree in Human Resources, Business, or related field preferred.
• 2+ years in HR, operations, support, or service-oriented roles in high-volume environments.
• Experience supporting employees or customers through case management or ticketing systems preferred.
• HRIS experience strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the first tier of HR-related support, resolving inquiries directly or routing with context.
• Support employees through onboarding, changes, leaves, performance programs, and offboarding.
• Handle a high volume of employee tickets across multiple channels with accuracy and empathy.
• Provide clear, actionable guidance by identifying root causes of complex questions.
• Review HR processes end-to-end to ensure a seamless employee experience.
• Collaborate with HR teams to review enablement materials for enterprise initiatives.
• Act as a voice of employee experience during HR product releases and system changes.
• Participate in testing and validation of system updates and identify impacts.
• Identify gaps in documentation, education, or system functionality.
