Job summary

ACCEL Schools is seeking an EMIS/CTE Specialist to remotely capture, map, and report Career Tech Education and district-wide data. You will ensure compliant data extraction and timely submissions to the Ohio Department of Education and Workforce (ODEW) while troubleshooting issues and coordinating with school end-users.

The role requires Ohio residency, 3+ years EMIS experience, and strong knowledge of CTE reporting, ODDEX, and USPS data systems.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• Three years EMIS data reporting experience required.
• Knowledge of Ohio state reporting requirements (CTE/ODDEX) and EMIS compliance.

Responsibilities

• Extract and submit district EMIS data to ODEW within state deadlines.
• Map CTE courses and enter data in the state reporting area.
• Manage special student data (IEP/LEP/gifted) in the SIS.
• Troubleshoot Level 1–2 submission errors and resolve ODDEX flags.
• Support CRDC and FLICS reporting.
• Communicate errors to end-users and guide data correction at source.
• Maintain documentation and records in SharePoint and USPS data.
• Keep staff data up-to-date for USPS reporting and compliance.
• Attend ODEW training and EMIS team meetings to stay compliant.
