Job summary

Amazon seeks an Emergency Services Manager to lead the Emergency Services Unit across multiple sites in a 24/7 environment. You will drive strategy, set performance expectations, and coordinate responses to security events, partnering with law enforcement and internal teams to protect people, facilities, and assets.

Qualifications

• Experience owning program strategy and end-to-end delivery.
• Experience using data and metrics to determine and drive improvements.
• 2+ years of program or project management experience.
• Bachelor’s degree or above in Criminal Justice, Law Enforcement, International Security, Business Management or related fields.
• 10+ years of security, law enforcement, or intelligence role experience.
• Experience prioritizing and managing multiple responsibilities.
• Working knowledge of legal contracts and terminology.
• Attend regularly scheduled meetings and actively participate in the discussion.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop Emergency Services Unit teams across multiple sites 24/7.
• Develop short- and long-term ESU strategy and roadmaps with auditable plans.
• Set expectations for leadership behavior; model Amazon Leadership Principles.
• Balance goals to optimize performance and employee development.
• Manage staff, resolve issues, and approve time off.
• Maintain high performance via inspection, audits, coaching.
• Assist in candidate evaluation, interviews, and training.
• Design coordinated responses to security events across teams.
• Make data-driven decisions and implement best practices.
• Build relationships with law enforcement and internal security partners.
• Develop crisis and incident management standards and continuous improvement.
• Create security, incident, and crisis plans aligned with customer security.
