Job summary

Amazon Web Services, Inc. is hiring an Incident Management Engineer to own incident response and account ownership for critical workloads. You will drive resolutions, lead calls with engineers and customers, and coordinate across teams to maintain service health.

Role requires strong communication, strategic thinking, and the ability to operate globally as part of a follow-the-sun team; standard hours and some weekend work are expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent.
• 3+ years of technical support experience or higher.
• Experience in network and operating system support.
• Knowledge of information security and compliance.
• Fluency in Korean (spoken, written, reading).

Responsibilities

• Drive resolution of large scale customer impact incidents as part of a team rotation.
• Lead critical, complex customer escalations in collaboration with Engineering Teams.
• Provide incident response/management including leading calls with participants.
• Contribute to Problem Records for customers and improve operational processes.
• Monitor customer metrics and manage communications during high-impact events.
