Zusammenfassung

Pacer Group is seeking an experienced Certified Medical Coder with strong outpatient and ED coding experience for a 100% remote contract role. Schedule is Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–4:00 PM, with a weekend day requirement.

Ideal candidates will have 3+ years in outpatient coding including ED coding, and hold CCS/CCP/AHIMA RHIA/RHIT certifications. Experience with 3M and HDS coding applications, ICD-10/9-CM and CPT-4, and knowledge of payer and federal billing guidelines is required.

Qualifikationen

• Outpatient medical coding experience required (3-5 years).
• Emergency Room/ED coding experience required.
• Acute care coding experience.
• Proficiency with 3M Coding Application.
• Knowledge of ICD-10, ICD-9-CM and CPT-4.
• Strong understanding of coding, payer, and federal billing guidelines.
• Strong computer skills and ability to research coding issues.
• Professional certifications CCS, CCP, AHIMA RHIA, RHIT.
• High School Diploma or GED required.
• English proficiency required.

Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–4:00 PM

Weekend Requirement: Must be comfortable working one weekend day (Saturday or Sunday)

We are seeking an experienced Certified Medical Coder with strong Outpatient and Emergency Department (ED) coding experience. The ideal candidate will have at least 3 years of outpatient coding experience , including experience coding in an emergency room setting
