Job summary

Gigapower LLC seeks an Embedded AI Engineer to partner with Engineering teams, driving AI-powered improvements across permit design, HLD/LLD, and network planning. You will identify opportunities to automate workflows and deploy AI tools that increase productivity and quality.

Ideal candidates combine strong technical AI skills with the ability to build trusted relationships across engineering functions and translate complex challenges into practical AI capabilities. Remote work option available.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in CS, Data Science, Engineering, or related field, or equivalent.
• 1–3 years in software/analytics/AI solution development.
• Hands-on with LLMs, prompting, RAG, AI agents, or tooling.
• Strong Python skills.
• Experience from concept to deployment and user adoption.
• Knowledge of SQL and structured data.
• Excellent communication; able to explain tech to non-technical audiences.
• Able to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong problem solving and learning agility.

Responsibilities

• Partner with Engineering, Design, and Permitting to understand workflows and AI opportunities.
• Identify and deliver AI solutions to boost productivity and quality.
• Build and deploy AI automations, RAG apps, intelligent agents, copilots.
• Develop permit package creation, engineering docs, design reviews, standards.
• Create AI capabilities for HLD/LLD development and network planning.
• Collaborate with Data Engineering and AI teams on enterprise platforms.
• Coach engineers on AI tools like Copilot, Claude, and ChatGPT.
• Measure adoption and impact, iterate based on feedback.
• Identify scalable AI opportunities with leadership.
