Qualifications

• BA/BS in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Systems, or equivalent experience.
• 5 years of experience in systems operations and/or systems security.
• Experience managing secure email gateways and other email security solutions.
• Experience with monitoring, enrichment, analysis, and anomaly detection.
• Experience in highly regulated environments, preferably Financial Services.
• Strong research and troubleshooting skills.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Knowledge of email security and securing systems, databases, and applications.
• Scripting skills with Python, Bash, or PowerShell.
• Broad understanding of current information security technologies and trends.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and optimize the enterprise email security ecosystem (security gateways, authentication, phishing, spam/malware filtering, encryption).
• Provide advanced support across cybersecurity technologies (EDR, SIEM, vulnerability management, auditing platforms).
• Lead cloud security controls across IaaS, PaaS, SaaS aligned with risk tolerance.
• Develop and govern security documentation (policies, diagrams, playbooks).
• Coordinate incident response and remediation aligned with business continuity and compliance requirements.
• Collaborate with IT, compliance, and audit for security assessments and third-party reviews.
