Job summary

Ruby Labs Ltd invites a skilled Email & Lifecycle Marketing Growth Manager to optimize email as a growth channel. You will design segmentation, build personalized onboarding and lifecycle journeys, and lead structured experiments to improve conversion, activation, and retention.

You will collaborate across Email, Growth, Product, and Analytics teams, turning customer insights into targeted messaging and effective flows.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in email or lifecycle marketing.
• 2+ years in growth experimentation and A/B testing.
• Hands-on experience building audience segments and automated lifecycle journeys.
• Ability to translate customer research and behavioral data into messaging and effective flows.
• Experience developing and prioritizing experiments to improve conversion, activation, and retention.
• Strong copywriting across subject lines, CTAs, and lifecycle content.
• Solid analytics and ability to connect email performance to business outcomes.
• Experience with marketing automation and analytics platforms (Customer.io, Mixpanel).
• Understanding of event-based automation, personalization, and email deliverability.
• Ability to work cross-functionally with Email, Growth, Product, and Analytics teams.
• Fluent English.

Responsibilities

• Own the email and lifecycle marketing growth roadmap.
• Develop audience segments and behavior-based activation journeys.
• Build personalized onboarding, onboarding activation, conversion, retention, and re-engagement flows.
• Adapt messaging, content, offers, and CTAs to segment needs.
• Define journey triggers, timing, branching, and exit conditions.
• Collaborate with Product and Analytics to identify data/events for segmentation and automation.
• Prioritize lifecycle opportunities and experiments based on business impact.
• Write clear hypotheses and run A/B tests across messaging and journey structure.
• Analyze email performance and user behavior to identify growth opportunities.
• Partner with the Email Team to implement flows and campaign improvements.
• Measure impact on conversion, activation, revenue, and retention.
• Maintain an experiment backlog and document learnings.
• Share daily experiment updates in Growth Slack.
• Conduct ongoing customer/market/competitive research to generate new hypotheses.
• Monitor deliverability and audience engagement to support sustainable growth.
